At Sagel Bloomfield Danzansky Goldberg Funeral Care, Inc., we work hard to personalize the funeral service for your loved one. In the past, we have honored requests to include dirt from a sport stadium in the burial. We permit you to place personal mementos or trinkets in your loved one’s casket before the service. We will attempt to incorporate whatever held significance to your loved one into the ceremony. We can create a personalized tribute video to play during the ceremony featuring treasured family photographs blended with emotive music and graphic images. This video will be kept by the family after the service as a cherished keepsake.
We also offer many cremation options. You may decide to follow tradition and have a visitation with either and open or closed casket, followed by a funeral service in a church or chapel. After these services, your love one is cremated. You may choose to have a memorial gathering post-cremation, and let the urn, a recent picture of your loved one and lovely flowers serve as the focus. We also now offer a Direct Cremation package that includes a simple wooden urn and 5 certified copies of the death certificate. This a special and rare cremation service that we are proud to offer, however please note that all grief experts agree that having a service or ceremony is vital to the healing process.
Cremation also allows you many options for handling cremated remains. You may decide to choose from one of our many decorative urns and keep the cremains with you in a respected place in your home. You can also divide the ashes into multiple urns to be shared by family members that are separated by great geographical distances. Portions of the cremains can be used in amazing pieces of keepsake jewelry or solid glass sculpture. You can place the inurned cremated remains in a columbarium niche, inter them in a burial plot or have an ash scattering ceremony.
