Fred Grunewald (Age 89)
Passed away on Thursday, July, 23, 2015 after an extended illness. Fred was a corporate accountant in New York, Easton, PA and Vineland, NJ before retiring in 1989, and moving to Silver Spring, MD. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Susan; his sons and daughters-in-law, Jeffrey (Barbara) and Robert (Nancy); his five grandsons who brought him much joy, Matthew, Michael, Thomas, Alex, and Craig; his sister Ruth Menkel and three loving nieces.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 26, 2015 at 11 a.m. at B'nai Shalom Of Olney, 18401 Burtfield Drive, Olney, MD followed by burial at Judean Memorial Garden in Olney, MD. Shiva will be observed at the home of Jeffrey, and Barbara Grunewald from Sunday, July 26, 2015 through Tuesday, July 28, 2015. Susan will observe one additional day on, Wednesday July 29, 2015 at her home in Silver Spring, MD for her friends who may not be able to travel.
No flowers please. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Fred's memory to the Alzheimer's Association (www.alz.org), National Kidney Foundation (kidney.org), B'nai Shalom Of Olney or a charity of your choice .
