He leaves behind his beloved wife, Lenore, four children Noah (Karen), Charity (Paul Randall), Mary (Ed Wasmund), and Alex Sack, as well as three step-children, Steve, Eve (Skip Roncal), and David Saltman, and nine grandchildren: Jacob, Nathan, Leo, and Milo Sack; Max and Daniel Saltman; Sydney Roncal; Celeste and Timothy Stout.

Marty Sack was born in New York City on September 1, 1930 to Alexander and Sadie (Daniloff) Sack. He graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
