On Monday, April 13th, 2015, Sylvia "Suzy" Minkoff of West Palm Beach Florida, beloved wife of the late Harry Minkoff and loving companion of Bernard Bennett; devoted mother of Michael (Melanie Maytin) Minkoff, Barry (Carol) Minkoff, Rusty (and the late Nancy) Minkoff; cherished grandmother of Gregory (Robyn) Minkoff, Kevin (Mary) Minkoff, Scott (Robin) Minkoff, Jacob (Alissa) Minkoff, Jonathan (Alexandra) Minkoff, Katherine (Mark) Mitchell, Samuel Minkoff, Adam (Linda Abeyta) Minkoff, Liev Minkoff and Harry Minkoff; proud great-grandmother of Hayden, Alexander & Etta. Suzy took great pride in her philanthropic efforts in the arts in both Washington DC and Florida contributing in countless ways to the Kennedy Center, the National Children's Museum, the Angels of Charity, the Kravis Center, the Palm Beach Opera, and the Palm Beach Symphony; to heath causes including the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, the American Lung Association, The American Heart Association, and the American Cancer Society; as well as many Jewish organizations, including the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington, the Anti-Defamation League, and Hadassah. Graveside Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 16th at 1:30 PM at King David Memorial. Family will be observing Shiva on April 16th at the residence of Barry and Carol Minkoff in Bethesda, MD. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Palm Beach County.
