Isaac Groner Obituary
Isaac N. Groner, 96, of Kensington, MD. on July 14, 2016. Beloved husband of Estelle Groner for 75 years. Devoted father of Robert Groner and Phyllis Gross (Steve); cherished grandfather to Donnie (Jill) and Lori Gross, Elana and Rebecca Kanter, and Gabrielle Groner; and great grandfather to Emily and Jordan Gross. He was predeceased by his daughter Lois Groner.
Isaac was a distinguished career attorney. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a BA from Cornell University. He received his MA in economics from NYU, and earned his LLB from Yale Law School (Cum Laude). He had the honor of serving as a law clerk to Chief Justice Vinson. He opened the law firm of Cole & Groner and argued 5 cases before the Supreme Court.
Services will be held at Judean Memorial Chapel on Monday, July 18, 2016 at 11:00am, with interment to follow. Rabbi Jonathan Roos will officiate.
Shiva will be held at the home of Estelle Groner on Monday and Tuesday with services at 7:00 pm.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
