Richard Schaengold Obituary
Of Washington, D.C. on Friday, May 5, 2017. Beloved husband of Marylin for 62 years. Cherished father of Michael (Carol) Schaengold and Howard (Teri) Schaengold. Loving grandfather of Andrew, Matthew, Samuel and Sarah. Devoted brother of Melvin Schaengold and the late Aileen Wolf. Born in Hamilton, Ohio. Graduated from the University of Cincinnati and University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Devoted practitioner of psychiatry for nearly 60 years. He was a WWII Navy Veteran. A private graveside service will be held Tuesday, May 9, 2017. Donations in his memory can be made to the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum or the Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center. A Celebration of Life gathering will take place at a date to be determined.
