Ronald I Kaufax

Of Silver Spring, MD died on Sunday, November 13, 2016. Born in New York, New York on November 27, 1928, son of Herman and Sadie Kaufax. He is survived by his beloved wife, Sandra Kaufax and was the devoted father of Alan Kaufax (Tamara Derenak) and Susan Kaufax Neaman (Joel); grandfather of Jaime Nicole Neaman, Marisa Brooke (Neaman) Witkin (Alex), Alexis Michelle Neaman, Matthew Ryan Kaufax, and Halle Lauren Kaufax and great- grandfather to Owen Witkin. Ronald graduated from New York University in 1947 with BS in Psychology. He built a career in insurance and financial consulting, owning SagePoint Financial in Pittsburgh, PA until his retirement. He was an avid sports fan and spent afternoons as a teenager working as an usher and watching games at Yankee Stadium. He loved to play cards and enjoyed time with family and friends. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, November 15 at 1 p.m., at Judean Gardens, Olney, MD.
