Aaron Halper (known as Sonny), age 93 of Silver Spring, Maryland, passed away at his home on June 9, 2021. He was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II, devoted father and grandfather.  Sonny is survived by and will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 68 years, Viola; children and their spouses, Caren Matzkin, Bruce (Jackie) Halper, Michael (Carol) Halper, Neal (Debbie) Halper; and 7 granddaughters and 2 grandsons. Services will be held privately at Judean Memorial Gardens.
