Alan Mark Greenberg, 73, of Washington, DC, passed away on May 5, 2022, following a warm goodbye to his beloved wife of 46 years, Anna.  Alan is also survived by his two children, Valerie (of Manhattan, New York) and Keith (of Washington, DC).  There was nothing more important to Alan than his family, who will miss his effervescent energy, his warm heart, and his gentle soul.  Alan loved to make people laugh.  He left a very strong impression on everyone he met, particularly those in the sports world. He will be missed.  Alan's family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to the National Alliance on Mental Illness ( nami.org ) in his memory.
