On Sunday, March 28, 2021 Allan J. Halper passed away at the age of 83. He was the beloved husband of Cynthia Halper for over 60 years, devoted father of Lisa Rodriguez (Nelson Rodriguez, son-in-law) and Larry Halper (Debbie Halper, daughter-in-law), Grandfather of Bryan and Ariella, Zach and Lauren, Josh and Chaska; Great-grandfather of Delaney and Mackenzie, Allie and Caylie. Allan received his doctorate from George Washington University in Ed. in '74. He was with the Montgomery County School System for 25 years. He was a teacher, counselor, pupil personnel worker, vice principal and ended his career as Principal of Einstein High School. Allan was adored by all who knew him. He was known for his kindness, empathy, and great sense of humor. A memorial and celebration of his life will be held in the fall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation.
