"Alyson "Alex" Leigh Baumann (August 20, 2000 - February 25, 2016). It is with sadness that we tell you that ALYSON "ALEX" LEIGH BAUMANN passed away at the age of 15 on February 25, 2016 in Potomac, Maryland. Alex's parents are Lissa Cooper Baumann and David Baumann. In addition to her parents, Alex is survived by grandmother Gloria Polay (the late Harry Polay and the late Barry Cooper); great-aunt Sylvia Dimet; uncles Rick Cooper and Robert Faron; aunts Linda Baumann and Kimberly Cooper; close cousins Haley Cooper and Greg, Douglas and Dan Faron; and other close relatives. Alex was an accomplished equestrian, artist, vocalist and musician. She loved her family and her horses and many close friends. She will be missed by many who experienced her kindness and enjoyed her smile. A memorial service will be held Tuesday evening, March 1st at the Julia Bindeman center at 7pm. 11810 Falls Rd Potomac, MD 20854. May Alex's memory be for a blessing.
