Amelia Jacobs 1927 - 2013 WEST PALM BEACH - Amelia (née Solov) Jacobs was born July 24, 1927 in Chicago, IL and passed away Saturday, September 21, 2013 in West Palm Beach, FL. . She graduated from San Diego State University in 1949 and received a Master of Social Work from the University of Maryland in 1975. She was employed by the State of Maryland Child Protective Services, retiring in 1991. She is survived by her daughter Ellen (Robert) Musen of Boynton Beach, FL, and granddaughter Josie Musen of Bethesda, MD. Funeral services will be held at the Judean Memorial Gardens & Norbeck Memorial Park in Olney, MD at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 24 at 16225 Batchellors Forest Road, Olney MD. Following the service, Shiva will be at the Musen residence from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The family will be receiving visitors at their home in Boynton Beach on Friday, September 27 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
