On Saturday, April 5, 2025, Anita Ratain, of Potomac, MD passed away. Beloved wife of the late Howard Ratain; devoted mother of Mark Ratain (Giselle) and Jill Ratain (Jeffrey Brown); loving grandmother of Bruce Ratain (Hannah), Jonathan Ratain (Maya), Bryan Brown (Sari) and Rachel Brown; cherished great-grandmother of Isaac, Kira and Aly.

Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, 1:30 p.m., at B'nai Israel Congregation Cemetery, 5401 St Barnabas Road, Oxon Hill, MD 20745. Family will be observing Shiva Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Club Room at 12500 Park Potomac Ave, Potomac, MD 20854 with Minyan at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to JSSA, Jewish National Fund (JNF), or a charity of your choice
