Annamarie Sokoly - 90 of Bethesda, MD. Loving wife of the late Dr. Laszlo Sokoly; mother of Kathy (Michael) Chelst, and Dr. Thomas (Brenda) Sokoly; adoring grandmother of Allison and Jessica Chelst. Died peacefully in her home of congestive heart failure on Tuesday, August 24, 2021. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 26, 12 PM at Congregation Beth El, 8215 Old Georgetown Road, Bethesda, MD. Interment to follow at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Adelphi, MD. Shiva will be observed by RSVP only to adhere to COVID restrictions at the residence of Annamarie Sokoly. All funeral, burial and shiva attendees must be fully vaccinated and wearing masks.
