On Friday, July 28, 2017 after courageous battle with cancer for three years of Merritt Island, FL. Beloved wife of 41 years and her rock Charles "Michael" Metzger; devoted mother of Deric (Michael Shipp) Metzger and "Mom" to George (Meridith) and Jenny; loving sister of Karen Sprintzin (the late Dr. Mark) Mausner and the late Ronnie Steinat; sister-in-law of Mark (Patsy), Jerri (the late Dominic) and Heidi (Alfie). Also survived by nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Gary, Blake (James), Lauren (Nick),Kori (Andy) and Pagie (Michael) and great-nieces and nephews, Lucas, Preston, Ava and Elle. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, August 3, 2017, 1 p.m. at King David Memorial Gardens, Falls Church, VA. Family will be receiving at Cheesecake Factory at Tysons Corner following burial.
