Arnold Powell Litman of Silver Spring, MD, passed away on Monday, May 31, 2021, at the age of 94. Predeceased by his brother, Malcolm and his nephew, Joel. Beloved husband of the late Beatrice L. Litman; devoted father of Ellen Litman, Ruth Litman Robertson, Judith Litman, Andrew Litman and Margaret Litman Jones; loving brother of Lois (Emanuel) Winston and brother-in-law of Cynthia and Myra Litman; cherished grandfather of Aaron, Shira, Adrienne, Seth, Sam, Jeremiah, Troy, Jessica and Candace; adored great-grandfather of Reagan and Avery. Also survived by his nieces and nephews, Debra, Bruce, Ann, Susan, Jennifer and Stephanie, and their spouses and children. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, June 2, 2021, 1 p.m. at Judean Memorial Gardens in Olney, MD. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Anti-Defamation League .
