On April 21, 2015, at age 68, Barry Greg Brotman, M.D. of Bethesda, Maryland passed away in his home. Beloved husband of forty five years to Lisa Montag Brotman, devoted father of Melissa Brotman (Rand Sacks), Erica Orgen (Brian), and loving Papa to Lydia, Justin and Miles.Barry was a physician and Chairman of the Radiology Department at Providence Hospital in Washington, D.C. He completed his internship, residency and fellowship at The Washington Hospital Center, and The George Washington University, joining Metropolitan Radiology Associates in 1977.Barry's life centered around his family, close friends, and his numerous hobbies. He enjoyed many sports, was an avid reader, and was fully engaged in the Washington art community through his wife, Lisa. He was a caring and dedicated physician who loved his work and service to the community. A funeral service will be held at the Washington Hebrew Congregation in Washington, D.C. on Thursday, April 23 at 1:30 p.m. with interment to follow at Parklawn Memorial Gardens, Rockville, MD.
