Benjamin (Ben) Henri Stone of Rockville, MD, a young man of great courage and humor, passed away at age 30 on July 23, 2025.

Born on June 2, 1995, Ben would want you to draw strength from his memory as you did in his presence. His laughter and wisdom were gifts; his sincere bear hugs echo in our hearts.

If you were a friend in need, Ben showed up to comfort you, listen, talk, and laugh with you. Need your furniture moved, a perfectly cooked steak, a shoulder to lean on, call Ben. He was a protector, an old soul, a voracious reader who enjoyed discussing history. Ben preferred to work with his hands, loved nature and felt the power of the universe when hiking in the woods and mountains. He loved the Beatles, old ballads, music from the sixties and his generation. Passionate about movies, Ben intuitively understood the camera and was becoming an excellent photographer.

Ben was a devoted son to his mother Barbara Isard-Stone and father, the late Lawrence Mark Stone. To his loving cousin Haley Sharp, Ben was a loving brother. He was predeceased by his beloved Aunt Sharon Sharp, Grandmother Connie Isard, Aunt Trena Goldberg and Cousin Michael Goldberg. He leaves behind his loving Uncle Michael and Aunt Susan, Uncle Alan Goldberg, Uncle Rick Sharp, Cousins Sheryl, John, Josh, Matt and Ashley Wysockey, Cousins Darryl Worth and Serena Bloom.
