Bernard J. Alpher (93) died Monday, November 7, 2016. Cherished husband of 55 years to Penelope, loving father of David (Robin) Alpher and Alison Arrouet, adored grandfather of Daniel Alpher, devoted uncle to a niece and two nephews. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, November 9 at 11:00am at Judean Memorial Gardens in Olney, MD. The family will be sitting Shiva on Wednesday and Thursday at the late residence with a Minyan service at 7:30pm. Donations in his memory can be made to the Hebrew Home of Greater Washington, JSSA or the charity of your choice.
