BERNARD H. KILIMNIK "Bernie" Of Silver Spring, MD, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2015, at the age of 87. Bernie served his country faithfully in World War II. He later served as a DC Police Officer, protecting and defending the District of Columbia residents for many years until he retired. After his retirement, he joined the Maryland Office of the Public Defender as an investigator. He is survived by his brother, Paul. Bernie, a beloved friend, will certainly be missed. Interment to be held Friday, June 5, 2015 at New Montefiore Cemetery, 1180 Wellwood Ave., West Babylon, NY 11704.
