On Sunday, November 24, 2019, Bernard Ornstein of Burke, VA, formerly of Port Washington, NY, and New York City.  Beloved husband of Norma A. Ornstein; devoted father of Barbara (Alan) Feldman, Martin (Merrill) Ornstein, and Jeremy (Sarah) Ornstein; loving brother to Sheldon (Sheila) Ornstein; adored grandfather to five beloved grandchildren, Brianna, Steven, Kyle, Lauren, and Amanda.  Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 2, 2019 at 12 p.m. at Temple Beth Ami, 14330 Travilah Road Rockville MD, 20850.  Interment service at 1:30 p.m. at Garden of Remembrance Memorial Park, 14321 Comus Rd, Clarksburg, MD 20871, with Kiddush immediately following at Temple Beth Ami. Family will be observing Shiva Tuesday 12/3 through Thursday 12/5 from 1-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the home of Norma Ornstein, 9518 Waterline Drive, Burke VA 22015.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Capital Caring Hospice Care (www.capitalcaring.org) or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org).
