On Monday, March 7, 2016, Bertha Silverman of Chevy Chase, MD. Beloved wife of the late Max Silverman; cherished mother of Mark (Anita) Silverman and Ellen (Leslie) Hersh; dear sister of Bernard Tolin; loving grandmother of David (Wendy) Silverman and Guy (Kelly) Silverman; and "amazing" great-grandmother of Max, Brett, Flory Anna, Drew and Connor. Graveside funeral service will be held Thursday, March 10, 12 Noon at King David Memorial Gardens, Falls Church, VA. Family will be observing Shiva at the residence of David and Wendy Silverman, Thursday with minyan services at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
