Linder, Bertram L. 20 April, 2016, of Rockville, MD and Boynton Beach, FL Cherished husband of Eva Linder, father of Jeff (Sandy) Linder, Eric Linder, and Elise (Eric) Leonard, grandfather of Adam, Andrea, Sarah, Ryan, and Matthew. A graveside service will be held at Garden of Remembrance, 14321 Comus Road, Clarksburg, MD, at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 24, followed by a gathering at Jeff and Sandy's house, 11301 Hounds Way in Rockville. Bert was a lifelong educator whose exemplary career in the New York City school system culminated in his position as principal of Cardozo High School, one of the finest public schools in New York. He also authored or co-authored several history and economics textbooks and established a successful literary agency for the education market, Educational Design Services. He had a wonderful sense of humor, a generous spirit, and most of all, an abiding devotion to his family.
