On May 19, 2024, Betty Lou Greenberg, beloved wife of the late Kenneth Greenberg passed away peacefully. She was the devoted mother of Suzanne Brandt Charton, Karen Brandt Oltman and the late Jennifer Brandt Bohnett; cherished grandmother of Garrett Charton, Alexandra Charton, Madeleine Charton, Ashley Oltman, Austin Oltman, Paxton Naebeck, and Brandt Brown; great grandmother of Vera Naebeck.
Betty was born in Parkersburg, West Virginia on April 12, 1929 to Letha and Roscoe Brand. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Harold and Roscoe (Rock) Brand, and her youngest daughter, Jennifer Brandt Bohnett.
Betty was a feisty, fun, intelligent, and loving woman. Betty's talents were many. She enjoyed golfing, gardening, singing, playing the piano and painting. She worked as a preschool teacher, a real estate salesperson, and she was the first female instructor of the Dale Carnegie Course.
Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, 12 p.m. at Judean Memorial Gardens, 16225 Batchellors Forest Road, Olney, MD 20832, presided by Rabbi Jonathan Maltzman.
