An interior designer with a contemporary flair and love of the color red, Betty Stark passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 30 in North Bethesda, MD. A native New Yorker, Betty graduated with a BA from Cornell University in 1956 and married the love of her life, the late Dr. Richard Stark, on November 10, 1957. Dr. and Mrs. Stark were active in their Sands Point, NY neighborhood as they raised a family and later in Greenwich, CT. Betty was a devoted wife, committed to her community, her friends and family. Mrs. Stark is survived by her two sons, Thomas Stark (Tara) and John Reed Stark (Stefanie); four grandchildren William (Stephanie), Ethan (Nika), Jacob and Chloe; brother- and sister-in-law Dr. Ronald and Susan Match and their daughters Debra Morse and Laura Schaeffer. Graveside services will be held at Beth Moses, 1500 Wellwood Ave, West Babylon, NY on Wednesday, January 3 at 11am.
