Of Rockville, Maryland, on June 6, 2025. Devoted wife of the late Norman Namath; Loving mother of Randy (Sarah Todd) Namath, Stuart (Cookie) Namath, Edward (Mae Brudner) Namath, Joel (Susan) Namath, and Michael (Sue Shankman) Namath; adoring grandmother of 7 grandchildren. Born May 30, 1932 to Murray and Bessie Broder in Worcester, Massachusetts. Beverly attended Beth Israel school of Nursing. After working as a nurse, she raised her children and at the same time worked in several other professions including as a bookkeeper, in-home day-care provider, book store owner, and invitation designer. She was deeply involved in Jewish life at Temple Emanuel in Worcester, B'nai Israel in Clearwater, and Washington Hebrew Congregation. Over the past 10 years while living at Ring House in Rockville, she welcomed new residents and volunteered regularly to help people feel welcome and part of the community. In each role she loved connecting and talking with people. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 9, 2025, 10 a.m., at B'nai Brith Cemetery, 55 St Johns Rd, Worcester, MA 01603. The family will be sitting Shiva Tuesday, June 10, 2025, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., at Julia P. Bindeman Suburban Center of Washington Hebrew Congregation with Minyan at 7 p.m. Shiva will resume Wednesday and Thursday, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., at the residence of Michael Namath and Sue Shankman with Minyan at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Washington Hebrew Congregation .
