Beverly Gottlieb Schnitzer, age 76, died on Saturday November 8, 2025, after a long, difficult illness met with exceptional strength and courage. Dearly beloved wife and partner in life's endeavours for 53 years to Rabbi Jonathan A. Schnitzer of Rockville, Maryland; devoted mother of Dr. Shira Schnitzer and Graeme Cohen of London, England, and David Schnitzer and Claire Bergeron of Washington, D.C.; adoring Nana to Benjamin (Benji) and Nathan (Nate) Schnitzer; cherished sister of Ilene and Mark Weisbrot of Naples, Florida and Lisa and Rabbi Richard Plavin of Manchester, Connecticut; ever-affectionate Auntie to Aviva and Cory Lebson, Ariella and Shlomo Dubrowin, Ilana and Steven Bernstein and their families. The funeral will take place on Monday, November 10th at 2:00 pm at B'nai Israel Congregation, 6301 Montrose Road, Rockville, MD, followed by interment at Garden of Remembrance Memorial Park, Clarksburg, MD. Shiva will be observed at the family residence through the evening of Saturday, November 15. Contributions can be directed to the Beverly G.
