Brenda Roth Coran passed away on June 30, 2021. Honors graduate of Queens College. Holder of M.A. (history) and M.S.W. degrees from Universities of Michigan and Maryland. Caring social worker who enabled adoptions and protected vulnerable children and later seniors. Managed an early AIDS caseload with loving care. First pregnant student to attend U. of MD School of Social Work. Inaugural president of B'rai Sheet Club, NA'AMAT U.S.A. Well known for her love of Israel and her deep devotion to her friends and family. Always to be cherished by her sons, Philip and Steven and husband, Paul. Graveside funeral service will be held at Garden of Remembrance Memorial Park, Clarksburg, MD, Tuesday, July 6 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
