Bruce Alan Wolfsheimer, 61, died on Friday, February 24, 2012 after a brief illness. Bruce is survived by his brothers, Frank (Karen) and Ronald (Janet) and his nephews Chad and Jacob (Jennifer). Sports were always a center of attention for Bruce and he excelled in many of them. Bruce was a devoted runner, having run half marathons and eventually settling on 10K races as his race of choice. When he wasn't running he could be seen trying to perfect his golf swing. Bruce worked as a financial advisor with Bank of America/Merrill Lynch for most of his professional career. His commitment to helping his clients provide for their financial future was reflected by the attention he received from his co-workers and clients during his hospital stay. We are all saddened by his loss but know that his legacy will live on. We will all miss you, Bruce.A graveside service will be held Today, Sunday February 26, 2012 at 1:30 PM at Washington Hebrew Congregation Memorial Park, Washington, DC. The family will receive friends immediately following the interment, Sunday and Monday evenings at the Wolfsheimer residence. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
