Obituary

It is with incredible sadness that we announce Carol Fronstin's passing on June 25, 2021. Carol was born on October 17,1944 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Sam and Frances Schneider. Carol was deeply loved by family and friends and will be profoundly missed. Carol was incredibly artistic and attended the Art and Design High School in Manhattan. As a teenager she met Howard on the handball courts in Brooklyn. It was love at first sight and they married in 1964. They were devoted parents to their sons Paul and Michael. For 26 years, Carol and Howard had a rare and unique true love filled with mutual respect, joy and good times. They lived life to the fullest until Howard's sudden death in 1990. Following Howard's passing, Carol relocated to Boca Raton, where she worked at Rooms to Go and then moved to Delray Beach to enjoy her retirement. New York was always in her heart, but Carol loved Florida as her second home and was blessed to reconnect with many of her New York friends and family who moved down. She was an avid Mahjong and Canasta player and loved a competitive game. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, going on cruises, shopping, eating lunch by the beach and relaxing on the couch watching Family Feud and Judge Judy. Most important to Carol was her family. She adored her two sons and was a wonderful and caring mother in law. But more than anything, Carol's greatest joys were her four granddaughters. She was so incredibly proud of everything they did and nothing made her happier than hearing about their accomplishments, daily activities, and attending the special events in their lives. Her smile when she saw them would light up a room. Those left to treasure her memory are her children Michael (Stacey) of Hatfield, PA and Paul (Sarah) of Gaithersburg, MD; her cherished granddaughters Zoey, Alexandra, Elizabeth and Mazie. In addition to her beloved husband Howard, she was pre deceased by her sisters Thelma Harchik and Gloria Goldstein. A graveside service for Carol Fronstin will be held on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Beth Moses cemetery in West Babylon, NY.
