It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Charles "Chuck" Williams- devoted husband, stepfather, grandfather, uncle, and treasured friend-who passed away peacefully on June 27, 2025, at the age of 84.

Born on September 26, 1940, in Sayre, Pennsylvania, to Robert Leon Williams and Kathryn Ellen Butts Williams, they lived in Metuchen, N.J. for most of his formative years. From 1962 to 1965, he proudly served as a paratrooper in the United States military.

Chuck went on to have a distinguished career in the biotechnology industry, serving as Director or Vice President of Manufacturing for esteemed companies including The Liposome Company, Collagen Corporation, and Genetics Institute. Reflecting on his work, he once said " In my work, I was able to take scientific brilliance and turn it into saleable items."

In retirement, Chuck returned to college earning a second Bachelor's degree in physics. Other students referred to him as "the old guy who knows everything." He also enjoyed traveling the world with his wife, Patricia, reading, and playing tennis and golf with his friends.

Chuck is lovingly survived by Patricia; stepdaughters, Jennifer Barrett Ozols and Stephanie Troy; his brother, Jack Williams; his sister, Laurie Markey; and his beloved grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him and remembered for his intelligence, sharp wit, and enduring love for his family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Parkinson's Foundation in memory of Charles Leslie Williams.
