On Monday, October 5, 2015, Charlotte Statland of Gaithersburg, MD, beloved wife of Alvin Statland; devoted mother of Karen (Bill) Kekeris and Steven Statland; loving grandmother of Billy Kekeris, Jr., Jimmy (Wendy) Kekeris, Joe (John Fitzwilliams) Kekeris, Nicole Thompson, Olga (David) Rollins, Dylan Statland and dear great-grandmother of Savanah Thompson, Sydney Thompson and Brett Kekeris; adored sister-in-law of Edward A. Statland. Charlotte is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held Thursday, October 8, 12 noon, at Sagel Bloomfield Danzansky-Goldberg Chapel, 1170 Rockville Pk., Rockville, MD. Interment Parklawn Menorah Gardens. Family will be observing Shiva Thursday with a 7 p.m., minyan and on Friday will be receiving guests starting at 1 p.m. at the residence of Karen and Bill Kekeris.
