Diane Bannett Weinfeld (age 72) On May 24, 2016, died peacefully at home surrounded by her family and friends after a brave battle with pancreatic cancer. She was the beloved wife of the late Julian Weinfeld and sister to Stuart Bannett (Judith). She will be dearly missed by her children Jeff (Nilam Patel), Gary (Emily), grandchildren Jason, Asha, Hazel, Everett and Cole, and by her friends and extended family. A graduate of Northwood High School and the University of Maryland, Diane trained as a teacher, but flourished as a homemaker, gardener, stamper, quilter, antiquer, collector, and Holocaust Memorial Museum volunteer. Burial will be held at 11 am on May 27 at Judean Memorial Gardens in Olney, MD. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Montgomery Hospice.
