Dolores Joyce Sturman of Washington, DC and previously of Bovey, Minnesota passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021, at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Gilbert Sturman, cherished mother of Howard (Robin), David (Tracy) and the late Susan; loving grandmother of Joshua (Melissa), Jeffrey, Evan (Natasha), Noah, Eli and Lina; devoted great-grandmother of Evelyn and Jonah.

Dolores was originally from Bovey, Minnesota and moved to Washington, D.C. where she met her future husband and settled in Silver Spring, Maryland to raise their three children. Dolores loved to play games with her friends especially poker where she would come home with all of the pennies. She also loved crabbing on the bay with her husband and watching her Washington Football Team.

Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, 2 p.m. at Judean Memorial Gardens in Olney, MD. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association ( alz.org ) or Parkinson's Foundation ( Parkinson.org ).
