IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Dorothy
Kulik
August 2, 1927 – January 6, 2021
On January 6, 2021, Dorothy (Dottie) Kulik of Potomac, Maryland, peacefully passed away at the age of 93. She was the beloved wife of the late Bernard Kulik; the devoted mother of Debra Kulik, Laura Pickoff, Andrea Kulik, and the cherished grandmother of Alyssa Pickoff. Dottie is also survived by family and friends. She is preceded in death by her dear parents, William and Pauline Wolfe, and her adored brother, Edward Wolfe.
Dottie was born and raised in Boston, earned her bachelor's degree from Lesley College (now Lesley University) and her master's degree from Boston University. She taught first and second grades in Boston and Washington, DC and then stayed home to raise her children. Later, she worked as a substitute elementary school teacher and then as administrative professional at several local businesses. Dottie enjoyed reading, sewing, traveling, playing bridge, current events, classical and Broadway music, and was a lifetime fan of the Boston Red Sox. She was a member of Congregation Har Shalom in Potomac for many years and was an active volunteer.
Funeral services are private. In lieu of flowers, family requests that memorial contributions can be made to Lesley University (www.lesley.edu) or the foodbank of your choice.
