On August 21, 2025 Edie Mahlmann, of Gaithersburg/Silver Spring passed away.

Edie was the beloved wife of Frank Mahlmann, devoted mother of Diana England (Richard), Laura Simon (Warren), and the late Paul Horowitz; loving sister of Noel Kent, cherished grandmother of Justine, Alex, and Natalya England and David and Alex Simon; and the stepmother of  Maureen Ramsey,  Frank, John,  and Danny Mahlmann, and Suzanne Mayes and their children.

Edie had a passion for improving the lives of people and demonstrated her commitment to others by serving as a psychotherapist/social worker for Kaiser for decades and as a community center group leader in retirement. Her keen intellect and compassionate heart will be missed.
