On Thursday, November 13, 2025, on the 59th wedding anniversary of his beloved wife, Marlynne Besner z''l, Dr. Edward Besner (Age 85) of Potomac, MD passed away. Edward (Eddie) was born in Washington, DC on May 4, 1940. Devoted father of Robin Katz, Tara Norman (Jeff) and Allison Palanzo (Russell). Dear twin brother of Arthur and brother in law of Neil (Judy) and Paul (Shelley) Schwartz. Cherished Poppy of Kyle, Cami, z''l, of blessed memory, Gavin, Jason, Eva and Joey.

Eddie served in the Vietnam War and was awarded the Purple Heart. He took great pride in his 44 year career as an Endodontist. He published two books, multiple Journal articles and served as a professor at the Georgetown University School of Dentistry.

Eddie was happiest fishing, spending winters in Florida and taking photographs of his travels around the world.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Eddie's memory may be sent to a fundraiser to Honor Edward: Donations will buy a cuddle bed for hospice.
