Elaine Simmel, 82, a resident of Rockville MD and a lifelong Washingtonian, passed away at her home surrounded by loved ones on Thursday, November 4th, 2021. A graveside ceremony will be held at 10am on Sunday, November 7th, 2021 at King David Memorial Gardens in Falls Church, VA. The family will be receiving guests from 1pm to 8pm at the home of Dawn and Ray Rachuba in Woodbine, MD, immediately following the funeral. Before retiring, "Noni" was an interior designer for 15 years. She loved her family and spent much of her time with them. She is survived by her daughters Tori Carchman (Bruce Carchman) and Dawn Rachuba (L. Ray Rachuba), 7 grandchildren, and 2 great grandsons. Donations in her memory can be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Lung Association.
