Elkan Weintrobe was born on March 13, 1935 in England and came United States as teenager. He attended Hunter College in New York City and majored in Math. He liked movies, attending musical concerts, informative lectures about travel and food, playing trivia and scrabble and loved watching soccer. Having conversations with his friends and others in his community gave him great joy. His Friday evening delight was watching the services at Central Synagogue in NYC on his iPad. He was known for his kind heart, strong faith and caring spirit. He found his greatest joy in spending time with family and supporting those he loved. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
