Elsa Berenstein, beloved mother of Nadia and Ariel Berenstein, adored grandmother of Nona Berenstein Lee, retired NIH scientist, and loving wife of the late Professor Carlos Berenstein, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday morning after a long illness. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 10am at Judean Memorial Gardens Chapel in Olney, MD. If you knew and loved Elsa, please join us to celebrate her tremendous life and say farewell, as she joins her beloved husband Carlos in our hearts and memories.

Shiva will be held Sunday following burial beginning at 1:30pm with services at 5:30pm.
