On Friday, December 1, 2023, Erwin Mendelson of Washington, DC passed away peacefully at the age of 87. Husband of the late Sunny Mendelson; Father of Gail (Raoul) Ludwig, Ellen (Donald) Paris, and Beth Viscarra; loving grandfather of Stephanie (Joel), Erin (Matt), Matthew (Melva), Erica (Matt), Alex (Nora), Brooke (Stephen), and Morgan (Bradley); great-grandfather of 13 and 1 more on the way. Graveside services will be held Sunday, December 3, 2023, 3pm at Garden of Remembrance Memorial Park in Clarksburg, MD. In lieu of flowers, donations in Erwin's memory may be made to the American Stroke Association (stroke.org).
