Esther Pinto Rosenbloom-Berle (96) Of Silver Spring, MD passed away October 26, 2016. Born in Tangier, Morocco to Josue J. and Gimol Pinto. Beloved wife of Harry Rosenbloom (deceased 1984) and Gustav Berle (deceased 1996) Beloved sister of Melvin (Barbara) Pinto and Albert (Miriam) Pinto; Beloved sister-in-law of Andree Pinto; Devoted mother to Jeffrey (Irene) Rosenbloom, Grace Rosenbloom, Glenda C. (Robert) Henderson, and Marc Rosenbloom; Step-mother to Ellen (Neil) Matlins and Jonathan (Rosalie) Berle; Loving grandmother of Keith (Amanda) Rosenbloom, Julie (David) Milliken, Renee (Joshua) LeVine and Great Grandmother of Benjamin, Reese, Grayson Rosenbloom, Carly and Sam Milliken, Rachel and Abigail LeVine. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins Esther arrived in the US in 1945, after her marriage in Casablanca to then U.S. Army Air Corps Captain Harry Rosenbloom. She taught French for many years in the DC Public Schools, and retired after teaching at Roosevelt High School in DC. She was a couture dressmaker, and also enjoyed knitting, cooking, reading, and doing crossword puzzles Funeral services 10am Judean Memorial Gardens Chapel, Olney, MD on Sunday October 30, 2016.
