On Sunday, June 10, 2018, Joan Lobel, 99 of Rockville, MD passed away after a brief illness. Joan was the devoted and cherished mother of Phil and Ron, treasured grandmother of Rachel, Michael, Maya and Zach, and great-grandmother of Aaron. She was the loving remaining sibling of Harry, Frances, Sally, Lillian, Morris, Katherine and Esther. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at 1:30 pm at Temple Beth Ami, 14330 Travilah Road, Rockville MD, 20850 followed immediately by burial at the Garden of Remembrance, 14321 Comus Rd, Clarksburg, MD 20871. The family will be observing Shiva on Wednesday evening with a 7:00 pm minyan service at the residence of Ron and Holly Lobel. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the American Heart Association (heart.org) or the Alzheimer's Association (m.alz.org).
