On Wednesday, February 1, 2017, Fay Widome Sugar of Bethesda, MD, passed away peacefully at her home. Beloved wife of the late Allen Widome, M.D. and the late Samuel Sugar, M.D.; devoted mother of Mark Widome, M.D. (Ruth Siegel), the late Jan Widome and Sue Widome; loving sister of the late Clair Berger Begun; cherished grandmother of Neely and Shaine Cohen, Rachel and Daniel Widome; great-grandmother of Kadir Cheifetz. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 3, 2017, 2 p.m. at B'nai Israel Congregation, Rockville, MD. Interment on Sunday, February 5 at 12 noon at King David Memorial Gardens, Falls Church, VA. Family will be receiving friends Friday, following service at the home of Julie Begun. Memorial contributions may be made to B'nai Israel Congregation, c/o Dr. Allen Widome Scholarship Fund, Hebrew School Endowment Fund or the charity of your choice
