On the 29th of September, 2021, Florence Campi, of Leisure World, Fairways North, beloved wife of Morris Campi for 58 years, devoted mother of Lisa and Joseph Campi and cherished grandmother of Shea and Samuel, passed away at Holy Cross Hospital. Florence was born to Claire and Samuel Friedlander on August 20, 1930 in Patterson, New Jersey. She earned her Bachelors Degree in Economics at George Washington University, and later came to work at the Department of Economic Analysis in Washington DC. Florence loved to write poetry and sing. She delighted in the theatre and art, and she especially enjoyed playing bridge with her friends, participating in Instant Theatrics, and singing with many different choir ensembles. She was an extremely loving and supportive wife, mother and grandmother who always knew how to make even the darkest times joyful, possessed a playful sense of humor, and she contributed generously to many causes. Graveside funeral services will be held on Monday, October 4th, 2021 at 12:00 noon at Judean Memorial Gardens: 16225 Batchellors Forest Road, Olney, MD. 20832.
