FLORENCE MARSHA KARLAN. On Monday, December 7, 2015, Florence Karlan of Rockville, MD died after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife of Milan Karlan; devoted mother of Wendi (Thomas) Schild and Bradley (Lisa) Karlan; loving grandmother of Jason Greenspan and Trevor and Ryan Karlan; loving step-grandmother of Bryan and Alex Schild; and dear sister of Jerald Klang. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 11, 2015 at 10 a.m. at the Judean Chapel, at Judean Memorial Gardens, 16225 Batchellors Forest Road, Olney, MD 20832. Interment immediately following. Family will be observing Shiva on Saturday and Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m., at her late residence. Memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society.
