Mrs. Florence Trier, 96, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 8. Born in New York City in 1921, she moved to Washington, D.C., in 1940. Florence was beautiful inside and out. She loved life, her family, and her many friends. She was a devoted, loving mother to Adrienne (Max) Chaikin and Jay Trier and a cherished grandmother and great-grandmother to Janet (Scott) Fortney, Stephen Chaikin, Erich (Ashley) Trier, Madeleine Fortney, Maxwell Fortney, Juliette Fortney, Sydney Chaikin, and Samuel Chaikin. Graveside services be held Wednesday, October 11, 12:30 pm at King David Memorial Gardens in Falls Church, VA. Shiva will be held at the Chaikin residence on Wednesday and Thursday evenings (7pm Minyan).
