Frederick Solomon Roberts died at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, MD, on July 16, 2022, and was laid to rest at King David Memorial in Virginia on Tuesday, July 19.  He was an Areospace Engineer who helped put a man on the moon, and was involved in Apollo, Skylab, Space Shuttle Programs, NATO Seasparrow, and AEGIS programs.  Born on March 9, 1924, as Frederick Rabinowitz in Brooklyn, New York.  He changed his name to Roberts shortly before being married.  He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Betty R Roberts, his son, William I Roberts (Lisa), and his daughter, Sharon A Roseman (Philip).  Grandfather to Jonathan, Benjamin, Michelle, Harrison, and Mark.  Great Grandfather to Alaina and Zachary.  In lieu of flowers please send donations to:  The Wheaton Volunteer Rescue Squad.
