Of Chevy Chase, MD on February 11, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Marsha; cherished father of Amy Bruce (Jason) and Suzy Balamaci (fiancé J. William Koegel, Jr.); adored grandfather of Cameron Balamaci, Reece Balamaci, Gavin Bruce, and Alexis Bruce; and devoted brother of Roy Sundick (Elena Stepanova). His career spanned of 40 years as a prominent securities lawyer. He worked at the SEC Division of Enforcement and later as a Vice President of NASDAQ. A funeral service will be Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at 11 a.m., at the Judean Memorial Garden Chapel with interment to follow. The family will be receiving friends and family at the home of Suzy Balamaci in Potomac following the interment with minyan services at 7:30 p.m. Donations in his memory, can be made to Montgomery Hospice/ Casey House or the Lung Cancer Society of America.
