"The Iron Man of Bridge"
Glenn Lublin, 73, of Silver Spring, Maryland, died on Monday, October 7, 2024. He had been a professional bridge player with a long record of tournament victories. "I was born to play bridge," he told the Washington Post in 1981. He accumulated 15,000 bridge life master points by 1993 and also was an accredited bridge teacher.
Son of the late Betty and Irv Lublin, he was born in Dayton, Ohio. He is survived by his sisters Joann and Toni, brother Pete, nephew Dan Pollock and niece Abra Pollock.
A private burial service will take place. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Contract Bridge League Educational Foundation, P.O. Box 154, Glenmont, N.Y. 12077.
